I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and the owner of Flourish Counseling in Winter Park, Florida. I hold a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in marriage and family, and I'm trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), EMDR, and the Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories.
I'm passionate about walking alongside trauma survivors, leading groups, and using expressive arts in healing. My work has included serving survivors of human trafficking and leading recovery groups for women across the Orlando area.
Luzelena Sagal is a compassionate Clinical Graduate Student Intern who creates a warm, culturally responsive, and nonjudgmental space. She is especially passionate about supporting clients experiencing trauma, anxiety, ADHD, and depression. Her approach draws from training in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), DBT-informed skills, and sand tray interventions.
She also enjoys working with immigrants and people from multicultural communities as they navigate identity, belonging, family relationships, and cultural transitions. Luzelena is pursuing a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at the University of the Cumberlands, with an anticipated graduation in Winter 2026. She believes therapy should be collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each person.
